Our Colorado-based team uses scientifically proven techniques that place a strong emphasis on helping individuals learn to be their own therapists. Through exercises in and out of session, we will help you develop coping skills to help you rewrite your story to the story you want.

Dr. Sharnay Brown

Dr. Sharnay Brown is the founder of Trauma & Anxiety Resolution. She describes herself as an adventurer that enjoys hiking, skiing, camping, swimming, cultural food and traveling. In order to practice what she teaches, she focuses on promoting work-life balance.
She earned her Master’s and Doctorate degrees in Clinical Psychology from Nova Southeastern University in Florida. Her predoctoral internship was at the Truman Veteran’s Affairs Memorial Hospital and her postdoctoral fellowship at the St. Louis VA Medical Center where she gained extensive experience in treating a wide range of emotional and behavioral presentations.
Specifically, Dr. Brown is trained and certified in a number of modalities including Cognitive-Behavior Therapy (CBT), Cognitive Processing Therapy (CPT), and Prolonged Exposure (PE) although treatment is tailored to meet the needs of the individual and their specific goals and growth desires.
A thought-leader in the field, Dr. Brown holds a faculty appointment at The Colorado School of Medicine and is a supervisor to psychologists-in-training throughout Colorado. She is a member of the Colorado Psychological Association and a former psychologist at Denver Health Medical Center, one of Colorado's premier healthcare institutions and home to the region's Level I Trauma Center.
Lauren Paulick, LSW

Lauren Paulick describes herself as empathetic, insightful, and non-judgmental. Raised in Colorado, she enjoys spending time in nature, dancing, home improvement projects and traveling with her family.
She earned her Master's Degree in Social Work from Arizona State University and holds a Colorado state provisional license in clinical social work. Her experience ranges from working with children and adolescents in a K-12 school setting to treating adults at the Northern Arizona Veterans Healthcare System. Working within these varied settings, she gained a well-rounded understanding of the struggles and successes of many diverse populations at many stages of life.
Lauren has experience working with substance use disorder, depression, anxiety, trauma, family systems, and life transitions. Lauren focuses on utilizing a range of evidence-based modalities in her practice to meet each client where they are. Interventions utilized include mindfulness, solution-focused brief intervention, EMDR and cognitive behavioral therapy. Feminist theory, existential theory, and systems theory inform many of her therapeutic approaches.
Lauren prides herself in fostering a warm and welcoming space where clients can feel heard and supported in their mental health journeys. She sees clients at the Capitol Hill Denver location and through video on-line.
Rachel Kohl, LCSW

Rachel Kohl is described by those closest to her as a kind, patient, and calming presence. Like many Coloradans, she thrives in the fresh air and enjoys any outdoor activity, whether it’s hiking, snowshoeing or reading a good book in a hammock.
She knew from a young age that her career goal was to become a social worker. After completing her B.A. at Wellesley College, Rachel worked to connect children in foster care with long-term volunteer mentors in Washington D.C. She completed her Master of Social Work at Boston College in 2014. Rachel completed her clinical hours at an outpatient mental health clinic for children, adolescents and their caregivers in Buffalo, New York, before moving to Colorado with her Clinical Social Work license.
Rachel specializes in treating symptoms of post-traumatic stress including depression, anxiety and dissociation. She provides Eye Movement Desensitization and Reprocessing (EMDR) therapy and has a particular focus in treating family trauma. Rachel also utilizes Cognitive Behavioral Therapy and Dialectical Behavioral Therapy, among other modalities, to be able to best serve individuals with the method that works best for them.
Dr. Anna Loney

Dr. Anna Loney is a warm and down-to-earth psychologist who values the human connection. Outside of therapy, she enjoys spending time with her family, playing with her dogs, training for triathlons or spending time outside enjoying the scenery.
Originally starting her undergraduate studies with the goal of becoming a physician, she quickly realized that her curiosity centered around how humans think, feel and act. Dr. Loney received her doctorate degree in Clinical Psychology from The Chicago School of Professional Psychology. She is a seasoned clinician with a background working in community mental health, inpatient and ER settings, hospital-based clinic roles and private practice.
Dr. Loney is passionate working with individuals going through life transitions, grief and loss issues, relationship and attachment concerns, and for those in the LGBTQIA+ community. Clinically, she is experienced working with mood disorders, anxiety and trauma-based conditions, ADHD, gender dysphoria, and adjustment disorders.
Creating a safe and warm space for self-discovery, she focuses on the therapy relationship as a microcosm of the clients’ life. Dr. Loney works to evaluate patterns of how one engages with self and others, finding new skills to cope with stress, creating a non-judgmental place for developing self-compassion and meeting the individuals goals for change.
Dr. Trina Seefeldt

Dr. Trina Seefeldt is described as compassionate and committed to accompanying individuals on their journeys toward health. Away from the therapy office, Dr. Seefeldt can be found working in her garden, walking her dogs around the neighborhood, and attempting to play the banjo.
A clinical psychologist with more than 20 years of experience, she has extensive experience working with clients who are struggling with post traumatic stress, depression, anxiety, anger and interpersonal relationship concerns. She is passionate about meeting individuals where they are, and collaborating with them to develop a unique treatment path that best fits their needs.
Dr. Seefeldt is trained in a number of evidence-based therapy practices and principles, including Cognitive Behavioral Therapy (CBT), Acceptance and Commitment Therapy (ACT), Dialectical Behavior Therapy (DBT), Eye Movement Desensitization and Reprocessing (EMDR), Interpersonal Reconstructive Therapy (IRT) and Time Limited Dynamic Psychotherapy (TLDP). She holds a PhD in clinical psychology from the University of Utah and an Instructorship with the University of Colorado School of Medicine. Dr. Seefeldt accepts appointments on Saturdays and some evenings.
